The Boathouse Landing, Valparaiso FL Dining on Boggy Bayou

The Boathouse Landing restaurant in Valparaiso, Florida is good. I mean "YUM" good! My husband and I went there for dinner last night. We met his co-workers for cocktails on the porch in the Bilge Pub, overlooking Boggy Bayou. Afterwards, we dined upstairs and the food was excellent.

We started with the crab and shrimp dip while reviewing the tantalizing Boathouse Landing menu. They make their own tortilla chips to go with the dip, and really need to package and sell them! This isn't the "in the bag" store stuff. Hush puppies were an automatic appetizer, and they weren't "mush" puppies, but crunchy delights with strawberry butter.

The menu has grouper many ways. My husband had the Boathouse Grouper, which was topped with lobster! I had the New York strip with herbed vegetables and red skinned mashed potatoes. Every bite was a taste of heaven.

For boaters, you can park your boat, tie up and dine in. The Boathouse Landing is located at 124 John Sims Parkway, Valparaiso FL 32580
