Hillsborough County Fair Comes to Valrico Area

This October will mark the first Hillsborough County Fair in its "new home" of Valrico. After years of debating a permanent home, organizers are thrilled to implement the upcoming festivities for this year's event. In years past, the Fair has been hosted at the State Fair Grounds, Raymond James Stadium and Winthrop.The new-permanant location can be found off S.R. 60 and Sydney Road.

The Fair will run October 24th - 28th. Some events you can expect include: musical entertainment, a tractor pull, horse and animal shows, shooting sports, a back-hoe rodeo, a car show, old fashioned demonstrations, a phosphate dig, cooking and baking contests, pumpkin carving, scarecrow decorating, a beautiful baby contest and more.

Admission is $5 with a Senior's discount of $4. Admittance is free for anyone under 8 years old, active military, and first responders. Parking is free.
