Twin Lakes of Valrico FL

Twin Lakes is a wonderful community in Valrico that has lots of family events. The park at Twin Lakes is called Zeina Park and has 15 acres of towering oak trees, many of which are supposed to be over 100 years old. Lake Michaela is in the middle of Twin Lakes. Around Lake Michaela is a one-mile continuous sidewalk. Lake Sterns is the other "twin lake". The lakes each have wetlands to ensure a proper balance between the ecological system and the residential community. The lakes support a variety of wildlife consisting of birds and even alligators. Fishing is allowed in the lake for residents and their guests. Non residents can walk around the lake but not fish.

The Homeowner's Association at Twin Lakes supports a lot of community events. Last Father's Day the community had a Father's Day Fishing Derby followed by an ice cream sundae. At Christmas there was caroling and a candlelight Christmas chorus in the park. Hay rides and pumpkin decorating happened at the Fall Festival. Neighbors in these affordable single family homes get to know each other at these events. Children and their families also enjoy the community pool.
