Banks need Responsible REO Listing Agents!

As a preferred Reo Listing Agent for major Banks/Servicers my job is to be the seller’s eye & ear on the ground. Usually sellers are distance/states away from their assets and need a responsible take-charge agent/broker to get the job done.
In my years of marketing Reo listings I have never place a Listing on the market with “MOLD”. On Tuesday I showed a Condo with no prior warning the unit is invested with “Black” mold. One minute into the unit & I cough and sneeze for the next 45 minutes. The potential buyer was having asthma-like symptoms. Granted I have not represent a buyer in years, as I am working mostly on Listings (Listing Agent)
This is what I call “Irresponsible”. I am sure the Seller NY Community Bank will be disappointed if I were to call the local news. As an agent/broker it’s imperative to represent the seller with integrity. Mold is a serious health concern and should be treated as such. When safe turn on the utilities. Help seller mitigate losses
Mold grows in wet environments, and produces spores that can get into the air. Most health problems caused by mold involve these spores getting into your lungs. Stuffiness or a runny nose may be the sign of mold allergy. Other common health problems caused by mold is shortness of breath, coughing or wheezing. You may experience asthma-like symptoms even though you do not suffer from asthma.
