At least once a day, someone asks us how the local real estate market is holding up (especially in the Alpharetta, Roswell, Johns Creek, Milton areas). Are buyers out there making offers on homes (besides distressed/foreclosure properties)? Are sellers "negotiating" deals? Are multiple offers happening on resale properties. The answer to all of these questions is YES!!!
YES, buyers are out there right now making offers and getting themselves the deal of a lifetime! Interest rates creeped up slightly last week which we believe has helped Buyers understand that if they want to take advantage of lower interest rates, they need to take action!
Yes, normal resale properties are getting offers (and multiple offers as well). We were recently in a multiple offer situation with one of our sellers and bottom line - we were able to get him more than what he expected! The buyers still got a "good deal" and our seller didn't have a bad day either.
