The Council on Education for Public Health has just awarded the University of Georgia College of Public Health full accreditation. This accreditation is not easily earned and provides many benefits to the school, the community, the students and prospective employers. Only two schools in Georgia are now fully accredited, the other being the Rollins School at Emory University in Atlanta. The UGA School of Health joins a group of 40 other public health programs at universities in the United States to achieve full accreditation.

This is great news for UGA and I'm happy to read about it. My girl child will be thrilled.
