Athens Georgia Named Greenest City #33 in Popular Science Magazine

Congratulations to Athens, Georgia on being named # 33 of the top 50 "Green Cities in the United States. Popular Science published their updated list of green cities in February 2008, based on judging of 4 components including electricity, transportation, green living, and recycling + green perspective.

Great news.  We are getting a bit greener in New Hampshire, but I think we have a little ways to go.  At least we are the most livable state.

Hello - thanks for the visit and the bookmark.  I remember reading that 5% over report somewhere last year also.  It's true we've had some minor corrections in the market, mosty in the affordable housing sector (under 125,000) and our days on market has increased slightly, but overall we've remained very stable.  If you would like to see more market statistic on Athens, please visit my other blog at All About Athens GA or drop me ann email and I can send you specific info on your subdivision.
