Since 1998 Hank and Jane Bailey have sought to build the kind of homes that people would gravitate toward through a Southern Living flair that takes into account the architectural detail present in a house plan. Their goal was to get away from the "cookie cutter" plans that seem to dominate an area. From their first home in Oconee County they built a Spitzmiller & Norris plan, Rosewalk Cottage, and then directed their sights toward University Drive and Five Points. In Five Points they built a Looney, Ricks, Kiss "Belhaven Plance" keeping with the detail of the historic district.

For the last few years their combined talents have been aimed at the Lakes region of South Carolina where they built luxury lake homes on Lake Keowee where they continued to build with the same kind of bent toward new home construction that insisted upon strict architectural detail. Homes ranged from cottages on Lake Keowee in the 2500 square foot range all the way up to much large lakefront showcase homes reaching toward 6000 square feet!
