The second best part of Marlow's Tavern Midtown after their food, is the fact that I can ride the elevator to and from! That's because they are located on the street level of Plaza Midtown Atlanta.
I've gotten to know Chris, one of the Managers quite well. He's always willing to give to the neighborhood in some form or fashion, and it's usually FOOD!
Marlow's is actually a local chain with Midtown being their first InTown location! Alpharetta, Vinings, Kennesaw, Northlake and Duluth all can claim ownership to one of these great places to eat, drink and catch a game on the many flat screens around the restaurant. Of course, Marlow's Tavern Midtown is the only one I've made it to so far...there's that elevator thing again! But they are all great!
I'm one of those customers that once I find something I like, I seem to always order the same thing when I'm in a restaurant. No different here. If I'm opting for a lighter dinner, I go for my favorite, the Black and Blue Steak Salad. This is a grilled Flatiron steak, Beefsteak Tomatoes, scallion and red onions, topped with a Creamy Gorgonzola Dressing. Mouth watering yet? Or maybe the Patty Melt, complete with Sauteed Onions, a grilled hamburger and marbled rye bread! And don't forget those Tavern Fries.
Hands down, the best appetizer at Marlow's Tavern Midtown is J.T.'s Kettle Chips! Crispy potato chips (made from scratch, not out of a bag kind) and topped with Blue Cheese, Bacon, Scallions and Blue Cheese Dressing.

Located in Plaza Midtown, at 8th and West Peachtree Streets, Marlow's Tavern Midtown is within walking distance to the GATech Yellowjackets football stadium. It's also across the street from the Midtown MARTA Station, so it's the perfect before or after game meeting location.
And I've not made it to Sunday Brunch, but the reviews say it all. At $14,99, Crabcakes Benedict, Made-To-Order Omelettes and Banana's Foster are a few of the temptations. Couple that with Bottomless Mimosas for only $15, and your Sunday is all set!
The next time you are looking for a great place to eat in Midtown Atlanta, look no further than Marlow's Tavern Midtown....and keep your eyes open for The Thom And Ray Team! We'll probably be there!
