For those of you that kept up with me on Facebook, you know I've just returned from an emergency trip to Miami to see my partner, Ray's father in the hospital. Happy to report he's doing well, and in fact, is in a rehab facility as we speak.
Anyway, such a short notice trip required a long, long, long car ride down and back (like 2000 miles on a rental car in 5 days!)
But on our return trip, we took a side trip to Vero Beach, an area I had never been before. Quaint, seaside town! We had dinner sitting on the beach (compliments of Ray's step mother) and then just wandered North, till we found a way back to I-95.
As we left Wabasso Beach, and crossed the bridge to Wabasso Island (I had no idea where we actually were till yesterday when I Googled the location) I had the opportunity to capture an amazing moment. One picture is looking to one side of the bridge, and the other is to the other side.
Please savor the moment as much as I did, and still do. I'm still in awe!
