Avery elementary school is collecting hats, mittens, socks and a childs toy to help the children and families in need in Cherokee County. This came home with my childs paper work and I almost missed it myself in rushing around for the holidays. They will be collecting stuff until Friday, December 21, 2007. Representatives from Must Ministries and the Marine Corps League of Toys for Tots will be present at the school on Friday to recieve the items.
Avery Elementary is located at Union Hill Rd & East Cherokee.
