When I was a boy, my dad cut my hair. He had a set of clippers with the various sizes of guards. However, the guards were rarely used. I sported a "buzz cut" through the 7th grade. After I started working on weekends and in the summer, I was allowed to get my own haircuts (and pay for them). My first haircut outside of my home was at Wooten's Barber Shop in Eatonton, GA. For over 40 years, Wooten's has served the community in many ways. If you want to know something about anything from the local to the national level, you can get a fact or opinion from the clientele at Wooten's. While Sammy Wooten cuts a few heads of hair each day, there is much more happening on the premises. Take a look at the business card, and you will better understand the value of this Lake Country landmark!
