On September 3 and 4 (Labor Day Weekend) Bar W Rodeo Company, which is sanctioned by the Professional Cowboys Association, will bring a rodeo to the Towns County Industrial Park (across from the Towns County Jail) in Hiawassee, GA. This rodeo is dedicated to the memory of Junior "Tootie" Ledford who was an integral part of the Bar W Rodeo Company in its earlier years.

Bull riding, calf roping, barrel racing, and bronc riding are just a few of the events that will be part of the full rodeo show. Kids will enjoy the calf scramble as well as the mutton busting. Clowns as well as bullfighters will entertain the crowd. Kids (old and young alike) will want to ride the mechanical bull as well as either climb a rock wall, bungee jump, or ride the swings. There will be vendors selling their wares as well as food concessions for those who come hungry.

The Hiawassee Rodeo promises to be a fun filled time for the whole family. Gates open at 6:00 pm each night with the show starting at 8:00 pm on Friday night and on Saturday night.

Tickets are: $10.00 for Adults

$ 5.00 for Children, ages 5 to 10

Children under the age of 5 - FREE

So, put on your cowboy and cowgirl boots and hats and mosey on down to the Hiawassee Rodeo on September 3 and 4 for two fun filled evenings of family entertainment. See ya'll there!!!!
