Halloween festivities will continue this coming week in Marietta, Georgia - and one of these will support a good cause. On October 29th at the Earl Smith Strand Theatre on the Marietta Square, the party is a masquerade but the cause is not. Rock-N-Horror, a music show and costume party featuring local band PRIME, will benefit the Humane Society of Cobb County.
The Rock-N-Horror, a take off on the title of the campy '70s movie classic "Rocky Horror Picture Show" will be an interesting combination of two parties at once, a costume party and band concert. Even the band members will be in costume.
The Humane Society of Cobb County is a locally supported no-kill shelter. It receives no funding or support from any governmental agency or other group. All funding is from friends and neighbors in the community. Through events such as Rock-N-Horror, community awareness of the Humane Society is raised.
For tickets, visit www.earlsmithstrand.org or call (770) 293-0080. Cost is $18 per person. Doors and rooftop bar open at 6:30 p.m. The show begins at 8 p.m.
Celebrate the season with a fun night of entertainment and help to make life a little better for our four-legged friends!
