Is it Magic?

Oh how I wish I could wiggle my nose or blink my eyes and have a room complete. For the time being, I'll have to rely on the traditional way... a design plan; furniture & accessories all brought in to help make a difference in how the home appears.

This is the formal living room and served as a perfect place for the kids to play and do art projects. Given that this room is located immediately to the left as you entered the door, it becomes an important room in the overall staging of the home.

NOTE: I wanted to include the exact same angle. However, there's a very large mirror over the couch (on the wall to the right) that has cast a horrible glare on the art. I'm going to try and work/edit the picture and I'm successful, I'll repost.

Thanks everyone! It's rooms like this one that speak volumes to the difference staging can make on a room/home. Each room in the home went thru a similar transformation. I'll post more pictures when I have some time. For now... off to stage another property!

Now that is an impact room! This transformation is stunning. Kathy your work is always so simple and elegant. I love the fact that you put just enough into each of your rooms to feature the property. It seems to me that many stagers load up rooms with too much furniture, accessories, and artwork. This defeats the purpose of highlighting the properties features. You aren't a magician, you are a master!
