Conveniently located at I-95, off of exits 102 and 104, or I-16 exit 155, Pooler is just minutes from Historic Savannah, the beaches of Tybee Island, and the low country of South Carolina.

NO GROWING PAINS AS OF YET!

Pooler is one of the fastest growing cities in Georgia. Since the 2000 census it has more than doubled in population and many new businesses have located in the city. It has long been known that it was targeted area for growth but with I 95, I 16, US 80 and Pooler Parkway going through the center of the town. It appears to be the bull's eye for growth.

The 1000 plus businesses vary in size from Mom and Pop to world wide known organizations. It's working on being the city that has it ALL!

The city of Pooler is said to be one of the safest places to live.

Pooler has seen a lot of growth since 1907 but its believed to have many more exciting days ahead!

SOME ATTRACTIONS WHILE VISITING POOLER:

The Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum honors those who served and are serving in the 8th Air Force.

Five Star Family Fun Park features miniature golf and has go-kart tracks for every age, including a kiddie course.

Oglethorpe Speedway is one of the oldest NASCAR tracks in the United States.

Crosswinds Golf Club has a unique and very popular feature, an executive par three course, illuminated for night play.

Enjoy a meandering trip on the unspoiled historic Ogeechee River.

Pooler's history can be traced back to the early 1800's. In 1864, during the Civil War, General Tecumseh Sherman and his men camped in the Pooler area prior to moving into Savannah.
