Nice article in the New York Times. Be sure to get down to the last paragraph. There is a link there to a calculator that will help you with your decisions and it’s based on the zip code you live in. I’ve long wanted to insulate the exterior walls of my home but learned from that calculator that it would be very expensive and it would only add 3R to the overall insulation value of the house.
