Georgia Sales Tax Holiday

Georgia's sales tax holiday is coming up next week. The tax holiday will be next week August 2nd-5th. Sales tax holiday apples to purchases of personal property including clothing, personal computers and general school supplies.

Clothing and footwear with prices of $100 or less per item. See the list of exempt items here.

Personal computers or related accessories can be a single purchase of $1,500 or less and if this purchase exceeds $1500 the entire purchase can be taxable. See the list of exempt items here.

General School Supplies items in the category can be $20 or less per item. See the list of exempt items here.
