Lake Lanier's Marinas are preparing to celebrate the Lake's 50th Anniversary! There will be special events, prizes, contests, and more! LakeLanier50 organizers and Lakeside Newspaper are sponsoring a "50 Years of Lake Lanier" Photo Contest. (I love seeing Lake Art and Photos). The deadline to enter is Friday, August 17.
On Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 8 AM a Buford Dam 5K Run will be held!
