National Kidney Foundation Walk
Atlanta is known as a college town, a conference town, home of the famous Braves baseball team, the Hawks basketball team and the Thrashers ice hockey team. But high on Atlantans list is the spirit of volunteerism, and reaching out to help their fellow man.
On May 21 at Turner Field, the annual Atlanta Kidney Walk supporting the National Kidney Foundation will take place. Check in time is 9:30 A.M. and the walk begins at 10:30 A.M. Funds raised go to support and educate patients and the public about kidney disease, and organ donation. Join the 1,000 plus walkers in support of this foundation.
