Tomorrow contributors may drop off their new or gently used suitcases and or book bags to any of the 25 Georgia Cancer Specialists locations between the hours of 10:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. In North Fulton there are two locations: GCS- Alpharetta 3330 Preston Road Suite 110, GCS- John’s Creek 6335 Hospital Parkway Suite 107.
The Georgia Cancer Specialists health organization in conjunction with the Department of Human Services distributes the bags to those foster children who are being moved through the system. Often times the children’s belongings are thrown into garbage bags when moving them. It is hoped the bags will offer a little dignity to an already traumatic situation. The bags will be distributed in the counties in which they are collected. Please remember to support this drive.
