Buyers are buying and Sellers are selling

Hey folks --

I am sure it is a shock to hear that there has a been a lot of negative press about the real estate market!! Well, it has been a little slow....but things are picking up. At The Anderson Group, we are seeing an increase in showings by almost 50% over the same period one year ago, and while December was a slow month, January traffic has really picked up the pace.

Buyers are buying, which means sellers are selling. Yes, homevalues are lower now than they were 2 years ago in some locations, but in many communities across the city homevalues have flatlined at worse. If you are thinking about taking advantage of the great buyers market but you need to sell your house first, give us a call to see if it makes sense. In most cases, a seller can afford to sell for a little less than they would have two years ago, but they are able to buy at a much greater discount.
