Getting Noticed at Yard Sales in Roswell, Georgia

I love to hit the yard sales in the Roswell, Alpharetta and East Cobb County areas.

I get a thrill finding great buys, checking out the neighborhoods and seeing what's for sale around me.

Wearing my RE/MAX pin and sporting RE/MAX Magnets on my car,
I also use Yard Sales to prospect.
I want all that are around me to know that I am a Real Estate Agent.
I chat with folks and learn why they're having a yard sale.
Are they downsizing and getting ready to sell their house?
Do they need an agent? If not, do they know anyone that does?
If the house is already on the market, have they had many showings?
Mind if I take a look around?

Well.... I was out and about a couple of weeks ago doing my thing....
I was having a great day....
I found pretty pewter plates to use to put cookies on and give away as gifts for the holidays.
I found some great stationary, some odd plates that I could use to put under planters in the house,
few other things things that I could use personally
and a few things that I could give to clients as housewarming gifts.

The best thing that I found, though, was recognition!
Imagine my surprise when I was approached by a nice looking man asking
if I was an ActiveRain member!
He recognized me from my picture here on ActiveRain.
WOW! How cool is that?
