OFF TO THE RACES ~ SAVANNAH, GA

Tomorrow morning I will be up bright and early for my race here in Savannah, GA. What a beautiful city! We have so enjoyed walking around today seeing everything. There is such a buzz in the air as runners from all over are here to participate in the Rock-n-Roll Marathon event.

I have everything ready, I am loaded up on carbs, my gear is out and ready to be donned in the morning. All I need to do know is to get a great nights rest. So while most of you are snoozing tomorrow morning, I will be hitting the gorgeous streets of Savannah.

I am looking forward to buzzing through the streets seeing new places and experiencing the energy and excitement of a race. Honestly this is one of the best things about these events. Everyone is positive, smiling and running this race for a variety of reasons.

Mark will be there as my cheerleader. He rents a bike and follows the route to catch me at different mile markers. This race is fun for spectators too as there are bands at almost every mile! Really makes the race fly by!
