Savannah is fortunate to have some really great parks. In the downtown Victorian District Forsyth Park is the place to be but if you live in Ardsley Park, Baldwin Park, Gordonston or the Parkside neighborhoods then you'll probably be spending a lot more time in Daffin Park.
The Parkside neighborhood, literally named because the community borders Daffin Park along Washington Avenue, one of the most beautiful and desirable streets in Savannah with majestic oak trees draped with Spanish moss. The Parkside area runs west to east from Waters Avenue to Bee Road and from Washington Avenue to around 52nd St from north to south. You'll find a variety of early to mid 20th century homes including Arts and Crafts style bungalows and 1950s brick. Home prices currently range from about 200,000 to 400,000 depending on the size, modern upgrades and of course the proximity to the park.
