Plans are continuing to move forward with the feasibility study of extending Ronald Reagan Parkway. The advisory group recently met and discussed the progress of the study.
Public/Private partnerships were discussed, including the model of the them, the level of exposure for the government, and how eventually it is all handed back to the government after their "lease" is up.
Things have moved slower than expected due to our economic times. The federal and state DOT are working with Gwinnett in trying to connect it to I85. The upcoming diamond changes are Pleasant Hill and I85 are not going to effect the scope of this project.
Questions from the public centered around runoff issues. Traffic on surface streets was also addressed.
Upcoming CAG Meeting: November 10, 2010
All meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. at Berkmar High School at 405 Pleasant Hill Road in Lilburn.
All are welcome.
