Filing for your Homestead Exemption - Only THREE days left for Dekalb and Gwinnett County

For all of you who have been procratinating, you only have THREE days left to file your Dekalb or Gwinnett county Homestead Exemption form!

DeKalb County:

Homestead Exemption: March 1, 2010

Other Counties: On or before April 1, 2010

Note: If a property is also located within a city with separate taxes, each city has its own deadlines and requirements, especially for senior exemptions, low income, or disability exemptions. Some of the city deadlines are as early as February 26, 2010 (the Friday before Monday, March 1, 2010).
