Holiday Shipping Schedule for Military Serving Overseas

Do you have a loved one who will be serving overseas this holiday season? Perhaps a friend, acquintance, or neighbor you know will be in a distant land next month? Maybe you just want to show your support to our Armed Forces servicing on foreign soil by participating in a community, church, or other civic program to provide presents, goodies, or a Thank You card for the wonderful work they are doing? Whatever your reason, below is the mailing schedule you will need to follow to ensure the Soldier, Sailor, Airman, or Marine in your thoughts and prayers gets the "gift" you are considering sending.

Military Installations in Iraq (APO/FPO/DPO AE)

The deadline has passed (Nov 17th) as it's anticipated all troops will have left Iraq by the end of this year.

Military Installations in Afghanistan (APO/FPO/DPO AE)

The various shipping deadlines are posted below. Note that Express Mail is not being offered.

• Parcel Post – Deadline has passed
• Space Available Mail – Nov 26th
• Parcel Airlift Mail – Dec 1st
• Priority Mail - Dec 1st
• First Class Mail – Dec 3rd
