The Polynesian Cultural Center is a must do when visiting the island of Oahu (Honolulu County). The center opened in 1963, with over 1.300 employees representing the Polynesian cultures for all to enjoy the different cultures, dance and food from the island and nations from Hawaii to Samoa, Fiji, Tahiti Tonga and more--- Needless to say, Polynesia include 12 million square miles of the Pacific Ocean.
A year round treat for residents and visitors alike, the Polynesian Cultural Center also has a special treat for Halloween. The "Haunted Lagoon" canoe ride. Ghouls and creatures join the La'ie (la ee eh) Lady and the Haunted Lagoon gives excitement to those thrill seekers through the month of October.
