I just spent one glorious week in Hawaii. I was only on Oahu, mostly on the North Shore. I have listened to alot of different people discuss Hawaii. They talk about different locations, Islands, so on and so forth. The waves are huge this time of year, there was even a big surfing competition. The weather was wonderful, Low 80's in the day- low 70's at night. The water warm swimming and other water activities very enjoyable. Now I get why so many like to go so often to this paradise. The fact that I was swimming on a private beach at 8:00 a.m. Monday my last day there and then was standing in Salt Lake the next day in 26 degree weather the next day makes the Hawaii experience all the more amazing. I was there for my niece's wedding. I t was a beautiful event. I can hardly wait to see those wedding pics.

Be careful. You may not want to come home. It was sure hard to leave.
Another beautiful photo of HI. But I really love that ocean photo. The sea looks a bit rough, but not too bad. And the blue sky is so peaceful. The contrast is amazing =D

Thanks, It is almost hard to take a bad picture there. My brother in law was able to pull it off with the video camera, hel left the lens cap on. Just a black picture with audio talking about how beautiful it was.
Looks lovely -- glad you had a very nice time. Happy holidays.
I love a beach....I live at the beach.....I will never move away from a beach....your photo says why......(it was over 70 degrees here yesterday)......
Thanks for sharing the beautiful picture. I had a great time when we visited Hawaii in the summer.

Thanks it the big waves were quite photogenic. I hope you have a wonderful Holiday Season as well.
Julie
I'm jealous. Not many beaches around here that I would want to live on. Lake Powell is a wonderful place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there all year. Thanks for your comment.

Thanks for your comment, I'm sure I will be going back, I didn't get near enough of that place. Where did you visit?
Randy, great post - and more importantly I'm glad you enjoyed your vacation in the Islands. My home is Maui and prior to Real Estate I was in the hospitality industry. If you - or anyone else - has any questions regarding any of the islands, please don't hesitate to contact me:)

Hi Randy-I'm located in sunny St. George but we've had some pretty chilly weather here the last couple of days. I'd love to be in Hawaii right about now, just like a few other people. Great photo.
Pederson Properties,
Thanks, Happy Holidays to you. I guess I lucked out to have awsome weather for the week I was there. Sounds like It has been pretty rough this past week. Tonight I got in my car and it was 22 degrees. Brrrrrrh.
Erika,
It has been unseasonably cold for you guys too in St. George. Feels like global warming to me. Ha Ha. Thanks for the compliment on the photo.
Randy, I lived in Hawaii for three years and loved every minute of it. I came back to Iowa to marry my DH, Every winter I think I need to have my head examined. I love to read Sally Cheesmans posts just to look at her pictures. Mele Kalikimaka and Haouli Makahiki Ho
Not sure if I spelled that right, but if you just came back from Hawaii you will know that that means Merry Chirstmas and Happy New Year.
I have been fortunate to travel all over the world, and Hawaii, is still one of my favorites.
Beautiful! I can't wait to go there someday.
Randy, I know what you mean. I visited Hawaii a few years ago, and can't wait to get back there.
Kathy,
I'll bet you are really wondering what you were thinking this year. Mahalo (some people think that means garbage because it is on the front of all the garbage cans.)
Cindy,
Its a great place, have you ever been to Thailand? It is a beautiful place as well. It is a lot longer plane ride.
Lauren,
It has moved way up on my list to go back.Hope you get the chance soon.
Bob,
Thanks for your comment, Which Island did you go to? I hope you get the chance to go back soon.
No, but my next stop is New Zealand, Austrailia, and Tahiti!
Cindy,
I hope you have a lot of time to throw at those spots. I have heard such great things about each of those places. Hope you will be sharing pictures when you go there.
