Discussion About Facebook

More than just being a post of information I wanted to open a discussion of how to use Facebook to benefit you and keep your existing clientele. Here are some of my thoughts and questions.

1) I think Facebook is better than twitter due to the amount of information you can publish and also after a while you can get "tweeted" out with all the tweets that people publish that you follow. I love the feature of facebook that pulls information from your site when you publish something that relates to it.

2) Once you have a facebook page (you can view mine here) and you get a fan base how can you easily allow them to get your information? It seems like people have to go through a lot of work to make sure that you are included in their feed. That should be find if they are your friends or really good clients of yours, but if you are trying to expand to get new people interested in what you offer then you are more than likely going to lose them. What are your thoughts?
