I skipped a week on my weekly update. With the holidays I just did not have enough time. The Freddie Mac First Look Initiative website is http://www.homesteps.com/homebuyer/firstlook.html. This gives owner occupants a 15 day period before the property is open to investor offers. The web site in general has good information for buying a Freddie Mac Property. 2 of my former REO assignments are on www.auction.com. Unfortunately the owners of both these properties are fighting the foreclosure so any prospective buyer will be buying into a lawsuit. So in this case “Buyer Beware”.
