I looked up to the meter at the top of my Active Rain page and realized I am hitting the half century mark. 500 blog posts! For those who have been following my posts the answer to the big question is: Yes I am still a two finger typist.
Back in November 2006 when I joined Active Rain, I had never even visited a blog before. I barely knew what a blog was. At that time I never imagined that I would be writing about my 500th blog post.

Along the road, there were several milestones on the way to 500 blog posts. A couple of months ago when the meter hit 300,000 points I thought I climbed Mount Everest. As time goes on I realize that 500,000 points in probably going to happen by this time next year.
Why am I so confident it will happen? It is because I love this forum, can't imagine not posting here and have reaped many benefits from it and plan to continue to do so in the future.
This year I am planning to attend the CRS Sell-a-bration in San Francisco and the NAR Convention in Florida. I am looking forward to meeting many of the Active Rain members in person at those events.

Your ridiculous. 500 Posts is insane. Let me be the first to congratulate you. It's such a milestone. Over 300,000 points as well. This is a big deal. Congrats.
Hi Randy - also amazing is the fact that you did it with only 2 fingers! Is that all you have or are you saving them for the big surge? LOL
WOW...Even my wife can't find that much to talk about. But that is fantastic. How much do you believe all those post's helped your business. This coming from a fairly "Newbie"
Just think how many points you'd have with all those digits moving!

Amazing. I just hit 2% of that at 10 blogs...whew...I can't imagine. Way to go...keep on typing. I bet you have a good idea where all the letters are now on the keyboard. You should try holding your fingers in the starting position for typing with 10 fingers....(ASDF and thumb on space-bar for the left hand and JKL: and thumb on space-bar for the right)...try to type:
try to type this.
I bet you'd be surprised at how quickly you'd pick up typing with all your fingers...but then again, why fix it if it isn't broken. Way to go.

Blogging has actually brought several more of my fingers into play when typing. I can effortlessly use the thumb for the space bar, and I have learned to hit 'backspace' with my pinkie blindfolded...;)
