Poipu Bay Golf Course, Kauai, Hawaii

I just took a weekend trip to the island of Kauai with my family, my neighbors and fellow Active Rain mortgage broker  and Hawaii VA Loan Expert, Jay Oku.  Here is a great video of the 15th hold at Poipu Bay that has some unbeleiveable views of the island and Pacific Ocean. 

Since it rained on Sunday, there were some fantastic waterfalls.  My wife, daughter and myself were cruising around the island when we saw an opportunity to shoot this video.

We also had a belly flop contest at the swimming pool but I am not authorized to publish that one.

With tourism down in Hawaii, we as "Kama'aina" (people that live ont the island full time) can get some pretty good deals on hotels, airfare, golf and a plethora of other things.  Its a great opportunity to get out once in a while and see the rest of the state.
