Last year this time the newspapers were filled with Kauai foreclosure notices. Those notices have slowed down as more loan modifications and short sales are working out. This is good news for Kauai’s economy. There will still be a supply of Kauai REOproperties this year but the supply may slow down in 2012. Only time will tell for sure.
