Sunday News; "Maui Foreclosures are Shock & Awe!"

The foreclosure picture for Maui is "not pretty at all" Quote The Maui News!

The Maui News has published an article that is a bit closer to the "truth" then the regular reported facts. Though RealtyTrac dot com is not the best fact finder, more or less is the only fact finder available to the large and general public. This is no coincidence that the Maui news showed up seeing that the Red List was advertising the 100+ foreclosures to be auction off on Friday the 27th of August 2010.

If you can read between the lines to say, then you can see John Anderson is on the point and the others the paper interviewed have interest in their sales, their companies, and the progress of the real estate market recovering asap. It is true that Kihei leads the pack in pre foreclosures, then Kahului & Wailuku combined as we on Maui call these two towns Central Maui, and a close third is Haiku, the over inflated Surfer, Transplant, new age love nest that anything goes on the north shore and the jungle side. These three areas are suffering by far more numbers then are reported to RealtyTarc dot com.

Quote John Anderson of Na Hale O Maui

"The water behind the dam keeps rising," Andersen said.

As I had said on my last post that some little Dutch Boy has his finger in the Dam- "damn" and I mean it! That little Dutch Boy represents the Banks!

The homes are not being sold as fast as they come up from the foreclosure cycle, that's impossible, the inventory by far exceeds the norm. Just look at the History in the Maui MLS.

The only way to really keep track of the sinking ship is to attend the foreclosure action on a daily level, read all the states news papers and study like you're in your thesis / masters stage of buying property. Now is a once in a life time opportunity to purchase a Maui home, yet be sure to zero in, study and understand exactly what it is you are buying, there are so many loop holes the banks are using, the buyer can get hit with some $eriou$ after the fact payoffs if the buyer isn't aware.

We make it easy for you to follow the Maui County Foreclosure Auction by providing a service called the Red List, an easy way to track and follow foreclosures on Maui.
