Sandra Dyas Iowa Musicians Exhibit & FREE Oct. Concert
"DOWN TO THE RIVER" - PORTRAITS OF IOWA MUSICIANS"
RME Exhibit: Sept 24 - Nov. 9
River Music Experience will host a special exhibit of photos from Sandra Louise Dyas' book, "Down to the River - Portraits of Iowa Musicians," from Sept. 24th through Nov. 9th, during regular RME gallery hours.
October Redstone Room Show:
Oct. 20th, 8PM - David Zollo, Joe Price & The Pines:
A lecture and book-signing reception will be held in the Performance Hall at RME on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 5-8 pm, followed by a special concert event in the Redstone Room.
The concert will feature Joe Price, David Zollo, and The Pines - artists featured in the book, exhibit, and River Roots Live 2007! The "Down to the River" exhibit and all associated events on Oct. 20th will be open to the public, free of charge.
Support and funding for this project is provided by the Iowa Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.
