The Loess Hills of Western Iowa - Fall 2007 Sights and Sounds

Its the most beautiful time of the year in the Loess Hills.  Fall always brings the sights and sounds that so many in the hills are fond of.  Its harvest time and the crops are being brought in for the year.  For those with Spring calves its time to wean.  For those with Fall calves its just about time to start welcoming the newest additions to the farm.  This afternoon I decided to take a break from my duties as a real estate agent and took a drive around the Loess Hills.  I spent 4 hours just finding my way down the wandering roads of the countryside.  From Council Bluffs to Missouri Valley and then on to Mondamin I enjoyed my free time alone with nature and the hills.  The sights of colorful trees and the combines in the fields has me thinking of the wonderful season to come.  I had my camera along with me so I snapped a few pictures to share here on my blog.  Thanks to NP Dodge and RealEstateShows.com I have this great player to put them in for you.
