Hi _ _ _ _ _ _ _ I Forgot Your Name !

Has that ever happened to you? How many times have run into a person you met a week ago, a month or maybe a year ago. Maybe even someone at church or a co-worker you haven't seen in a long time.

How embarrassing is that? They call you by name and you can't remember theirs.

Well..... this is what I do !

First, you run into them and they might say "Hi Dan, how have you been?" I first answer their question and that is when I cheat. I say " what is your name again?" They might say " John or Sue or whatever,,,,,,, it doesn't matter because then I would say "no John not your first name , I know that, I meant your last name.

Then you have it !! Their first and last name.

If they give me their whole name I still say "not your first name Sue I know that, I just couldn't remember your last name."

Well anyway I don't look totally embarrassed, only 1/2, it helps a little.

The next time you run into a person and you can't remember their name, give this a try.
