It's been a long winter. Temperatures have been below normal, water levels are above normal and people that live in Boise are really feeling like they need to stretch their legs!
Saturday turned out to be the kind of gorgeous day that Idahoans live for. There are hundreds of trails in the foothills that attract runners, bicyclists, families and folks looking for a little solitude and refreshing.
Boise's foothills are one major feature that is unique to living here. Every venture into the foothills will reward you with different wildlife or flora or even discovery of a new more challenging trail. The best feature is it is right out our back door, a quick ride to any of the numerous headtrails.

Then it's on to another famous outlet for Boiseians....the farmers market. Many new and old vendors need to be explored and discovered. It was packed this beautiful Saturday for the Farm to Table Tour. An all day event if you want to take in all the samples and talk with the local farmers and chefs.

Then finish off the afternoon sitting at your favorite coffee shop with your favorite cup 'joe, soaking up some sunlight, hoping to catch a friend doing the same. The perfect way to spend a Saturday in Boise.
