IDAHO (Wednesday, April 22, 2009)- Make your reservation today for stays within Idaho's State Parks. Reservations for campsites, cabins and yurts will be accepted online at www.parksandrecreation.idaho.gov, or by phone: 1-888-9-CAMPID (888-922-6743) beginning Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 8 a.m. MDT.
After the April 22nd launch, online reservations are processed 24 hours a day. Reservations by phone will be processed Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) and 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. MDT, Saturday and Sunday.
Reservations can be made 9-months in advance of your intended stay and no later than two days prior to your arrival.
"Idaho's State Parks are unique, close to home and offer affordable recreation opportunities," said Jennifer Wernex, IDPR Communications Manager. "We're anticipating an increase in visitation by families looking for memorable things to do and fun places to stay overnight that are both inexpensive and a short drive from home. By making reservations now, families can ensure that their favorite campsite or cabin is available for their visit."
