I was just responding to another lead online. I typically tell them to Google me and then compare the results to what they find on Google for my competitors. I know how poorly most of my competitors rank even for their own names, so I really use this to my advantage. Sometimes I even make it easy for them by providing the link: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Jim+Paulson+Boise
I decided to take this a step further today having faith in the Google Juice of my blogs. Therefore, I put in my reply to just Google "the best real estate agent to hire in Boise, Idaho". Since I have put the phrase "the best real estate agent to hire in Boise, Idaho" in the title, in the body twice and in the tags, I am confident that by the time I wake up, Google will have already crawled my blog and have that term indexed in the #1 spot on Google.
As soon as that happens, I will be changing all my online marketing responses to take advantage of that placement and then take the process even further. Here is the screen shot I took tonight to prove it wasn't here to start with.

I will post an updated photo showing the placement when it occurs. (note I didn't say "if")!
I hope you enjoyed another Technology Tip provided by Jim Paulson of Progressive Realty Corporation. I am also a certified EPRO instructor for NAR, if your association or office needs an instructor to teach you some of these tricks, please contact me. I am also available to receive and close referrals in the Boise, Idaho area.
