Man Caves and Good Living

Around Thanksgiving my wife always like to make the home a bit more beautiful for any guests that will be arriving. New furnishings of some type, new dinnerware, everything extra clean, etc. She tells me is has to do with feathering the nest.

On my side of things, I am pretty excited about the Super Bowl this weekend, and know that the guys coming over to watch with me will want the house to be in a certain order. In this case though the order they crave is not the same as the type my wife craves. They are looking for more of a transcendental watching experience. The chairs and sofa must be juxtaposed from the TV just so. Any of my guests reaching for a beer or another plate of nachos must not have to go out of viewing range of the game in doing so. The same goes for relieving oneself during the excitement.
