Tango Cafe - A Great Place to Eat before our weekly meetings: Sandpoint Blog

I stopped at Tango Cafe on the way to my weekly meeting for Tomlinson Sandpoint Sotheby's International Realty at the Panhandle State Bank. Tango Cafe is a great place to have breakfast or lunch. You can eat in the beautiful lobby or even relax with your cup of Joe upstairs overlooking the water feature while surfing the web on the Wi-Fi provided.

A couple of years back Judy Colegrove took over the reigns there and the cafe has done well since. My friend Justine is one of the perpetually smiling staff, and it might be the friendliest place in town.

I was asked what it is we do in our weekly meetings in the auditorium-like conference room upstairs. If your REALTOR's company is not having these kinds of meetings, they might not be keeping up. Every two years every REALTOR must have a minimum of 16 credit hours to maintain their licenses. This is like having a year of full-time college education every two years. Laws and ordinances change constantly. Technology is in constant flux. Techniques are all important. We study David Knox and the Ninja method of selling. We learn about setbacks and sewer laterals. We find out everything needed in the here and now to better serve our clients.

For instance, right now, as we go through the newest system for MLS programming, I am blogging this article. Blogs, YouTube videos, Skype, REO and foreclosure properties, better ways of photography, and untold other agenda items are on our plates.

Speaking of plates, Tango Cafe is yummy. Nice to have it right there so I can have a nice breakfast and coffee in meeting that can be the best educational thing we do for ourselves and clients.
