Carol Stream (Glenbard North) Homecoming Week 10-9-07.....

As with all schools, there is a lot of prep that goes into the "Homecoming Festivities" at the high school level... The following information highlights (directly from the district newsletter), what is planned for this coming week as Glenbard North prepares for their homecoming.

1. NORTH TO CELEBRATE HOMECOMING:  Glenbard North students are gearing up for an 
exciting week of homecoming activities.

Glenbard North's spirit week festivities get under way on Tuesday, Oct. 9, which 
is pajama day. On Wednesday, Oct. 10, students are encouraged to participate in 
Stoplight Day.  Other theme days include:  Thursday, Oct. 11, 50's day and 
Friday, Oct. 12, Class Color day.
 
On Oct. 10, junior and senior girls will play in the powder puff football game 
with a special half-time performance by Pom Security.  (Senior boys doing their 
best in a Pom routine!)  Immediately following the powder puff game at 
approximately 8 p.m. Glenbard North will host a bonfire.
 
The sophomore football team will take the field at 5 p.m. Oct. 12 followed by 
the varsity game at 7:30 p.m.  The Panthers will take on Naperville Central.  
Everyone is invited to cheer on the Panthers and enjoy the half-time 
extravaganza, which features the Glenbard North Marching Band, poms, 
cheerleaders and the homecoming court.

The week's activities will culminate with the homecoming dance at 8 p.m. 
Saturday, Oct. 13, at the school.  This year's theme is "Hopelessly Devoted" as 
Glenbard North is transformed into a scene from the movie Grease.
