Just down the road from this intersection is the Glen Arts Theatre. The theatre originally opened in the 1920s with 1,000 seats. In the 1980s it was divided into 4, 200 seat movie theatres.
Today, the Glen Arts is still a staple of downtown Glen Ellyn. On Saturday, December 15 The Muppet Christmas Carol will be shown at 10:30am. It is part of the Free Holiday Movie Series. Come early to get seat!
