The heat of summer is over and the crisp autumn air has arrived. What better time to celebrate some good old-fashioned family fun at Wagner Farm with their Corn Harvest Festival. Whether you live in the village of Glenview or are just looking for a day activity for your family, the Corn Harvest Festival will not disappoint.

The Wagner Farm is a real farm that was owned and operated from 1855 until 1997 by members of the Wagner family. When the last Wagner passed away, the Village of Glenview was able to purchase 18.6 acres of the property to use for educational and interpretive purposes. As Wagner Farms puts it best – “If your kids think that milk comes in a carton, corn comes in a can and chicken comes in a cellophane wrapped package, it's time for a visit to Wagner Farm . . .”

Come join Wagner Farms in celebrating fall with the Corn Harvest Festival ~ October 15, 2011 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.

It’s a great chance to get some family bonding time, to explore all the great wholesome fun that Glenview has to offer, and to experience harvest time from an earlier era. You can enjoy corn picking by hand, wagon rides, various farm activities, harvest food treats and fall arts and crafts such as apple pressing.

Bring the whole family for an enjoyable and affordable day out. Admission is only $3.00 per person, and children under 3 are free. Wagner Farm is located at 1510 Wagner Road in Glenview and offer many great family activities all year long.
