Run Thru the Hills

Bring the whole family and join in on this 9th annual event. You can run or just walk, with strolling distances for all levels. Each participant will receive a technical shirt and a pancake breakfast provided by the Lake in the Hills Rotary Club.

Pre-registration is available online at http://www.lith.org/. Early registration is also available at the Running Depot, 30-E North Williams Street, Crystal Lake along with early packet pickup.

The starting line, finish line and registration will take place at the Lake in the Hills Movie Theater, located at 311 Randall Road. The 10K and 5K races start at 8:00 a.m. Following the races, a pancake breakfast and award ceremony will be held at the Village Hall, 600 Harvest Gate. Lunch with a Cop Program

On Fridays, April 11th and April 18th, the Lake in the Hills Police Department will be hosting their Lunch with a Cop Program. It will be held both days from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The program will include a pizza lunch, a puppet show and safety tips. The lunch, pizza and pop will be served to the children and their parents by members of the Lake in the Hills Police Department. The puppet show will follow once lunch is done. The entire program is free of charge and is an excellent opportunity for young children to realize the police are their friends and someone they should come to for help.
