WOW, what a task indeed. I decided that it was time to really practice what I preach, by that I mean I need to fine tune all the technology resources I have at hand to really step up my prospecting.
I was chatting with a dear friend of mine the other night, whom is an incredible wizard at web design. She has made this her life work and over the years has created quite a nice business for herself. I am not only proud of all she has accomplished; but proud to be her friend for nearly 40 years! TRUE! So who better to consult regarding Patti + Real Estate + technology = Better Web Presence. While I was busy huffing & puffing, panting and heavy breathing ( thats another BEAST for another conversation) (that being WHY do I have to challenge myself as to just HOW many tasks can this multi-tasker take on at any one given time?) I was doing my faithful couple miles on the treadmill while consulting on web design & presence with Debra.
I asked her this question: "Am I just insanely slow on these Blogs? OR is this process truly as time consuming as I perceive it to be?" She adamantly agreed, DUH, YES! Why do you think I have not accomplished much on mine Patti? to which I replied: OH. Giving this some thought while re-sizing photos, writing copy for upcoming ad deadlines, searching to see IF Patti Puckett comes up in a GOOGLE search, eating a cold sandwich--I decided to really give this BLOG venue some devotion from ME.
One of my many mantra's is: Education is Empowerment. This, I believe is the substance to which I will dedicate my time on Patti's Blog to. The first task I will attempt this evening is to mainstream my Blog name with my website name which is: www.realestaterecipes.com . Secondly will be to re-introduce myself and hope to begin locating others that are interested in THE TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH, and nothing BUT THE TRUTH about Real Estate. While I make it my job to be educated and a professional in my field; most of my future comments will pertain primarily to the areas within Northern Illinois where I practice most of my skills. They would include: Boone & Winnebago Counties; some Ogle, some Dekalb; and because I grew up and spent the majority of my life in Cook and McHenry Counties; (and I have a rather large "sphere of influence" in these areas) I make it my job to keep informed in these Chicago Collar Counties too!.
