I just came across this website and had to pass it along! People post pictures from cameras or memory cards they've found in hopes of finding the photographers. You can even search by state -- recognize anyone? Email the site, and they'll initiate the reunion.
I've definitely had to run back to a house to find my camera on more than one occasion, so I just might have to use the site myself some day!
